Technical

Does using SCENAR require any special knowledge or training?
No. Using SCENAR series devices from “LET Medical” is rather simple. At least it is not more complicated (maybe even simpler) than operating any home electronic equipment. SCENAR does not require being connected to the electricity supply networks. It does not need additional equipment or facilities. Our SCENARs are compact and can easily fit in your bag or even pocket. You can use SCENAR everywhere and any time you need.
All you need is to read the instructions on use carefully, so that you know what the buttons on the front panel are for or what the LCD monitor displays or LED indicators mean. You do not have to make any complicated calculations or apply complicated techniques and algorithms to effectively use our SCENAR devices. All you need is placing the device on the problematic area or projection of the pathological organ or region. And, of course, elementary knowledge of the human anatomy is desirable.
However, in cases of serious conditions and diseases, you need a professional SCENAR-therapist, who would conduct effective treatment using his knowledge and experience.


What are the silver electrodes different from the steel ones in?
Silver intensifies action signal focusing, i.e. provides deeper action upon the body.
The silver electrodes are made of special silver of the first heat. It is a pure silver material without any additives, maintaining its natural structure. Silver has always been known for its healing properties. So, together with the device capable to restore your health, you will also have the healing effect of pure silver.

Are professional models, like VX735v5, only intended for medical professionals? Can people without medical background use these models effectively?
Actually, calling these models professional does not mean they are only intended for medical professionals. For example, if you buy a professional hair drier, you can use it as effectively as a professional hair-dresser. But in this case your professional thing will have more features, will be more reliable, and will be able to bear many hours of work every day.
The same is with our professional models of SCENAR. First of all, “professional” means that this model has a lot of useful features which can be very helpful for a professional SCENAR-therapist in his everyday work.


What is the difference between SCENARs from “LET Medical” and SCENARs from “RITM” and other companies?
“RITM's” and COSMODIC devices are based on the same model, developed by A.Karasev . Of course, they are not an exact copy of that model. “RITM” has modified it and made some alterations. COSMODIC devices are more automatic and allow to threat more simple but they cost much more. COSMODIC has variations with silver and gold electrodes.

How do I know that the device is working properly? Does SCENAR have a built-in diagnostic test to ensure that the units are functioning properly over time?
Yes, the latest generation of SCENAR series models from “LET Medical” has such internal diagnostic test, which just switches the device off if something goes wrong and restarts it automatically.
If over time some systems of the device need to be adjusted, the diagnostic block finds and corrects them automatically. The device is also equipped with an aging corrector which traces and corrects mistuning of action and control circuits caused by aging of radioelements used in the device. This allows maintaining the effective work of the device for a long time.

Why are your models so expensive? Is it possible to reduce the price?
We understand your disappointment about the prices. Unfortunately, the price of the model does not depend only upon us. As soon as we can put the model on serial production, i.e. will be manufacturing not 10 or 20, but thousands of units per month, the price will be significantly reduced and more users will be able to afford SCENARs from “LET Medical”. The problem is that components suppliers sell the parts in thousands or millions pieces. So, the more we order, the cheaper the price is. If we order 1, 10 or even 100 parts, the price for the parts is extremely high. This is the main reason for our devices to be so expensive. I foresee your next question – why don’t we buy the parts in bigger quantity. The answer is – the components supplies require payment in advance. Our small company is not so rich to be able to afford this.
The prices you see on our price-lists are, first of all, prices for engineering samples. As soon as we have someone ready to invest in the serial production of this or that model, the price will get much lower, since having the necessary funds we can buy the component parts in large quantities at a much lower price.
This is a usual thing with any production process – the more you produce the cheaper the product costs.
There is another serious factor, which should be taken into account. R&D, search and employment of the latest high-tech achievements take years before we can offer you the end product. We spend a lot of funds to make our devices high-quality, effective, reliable, state-of-the-art, and easy in operation. This also influences the end cost of the device, together with component parts, manufacturing, advertisement, and other expenses. Again this will not influence the end price of the device so much if we start production in large quantities.
At the moment we are working on development of new cheaper models which many people can buy at a reasonable price.


I have two probes for profscenar 97.4+. I can insert them into VX 735 Ag. Is it safe to use them in this device?
Yes, it is quite safe to use the probes from 97.4+ device together with our model. However, we cannot guarantee the effect of treatment and proper diagnostic estimation of the device while using these probes.
From the technical point of view it is OK, there will not be anything wrong with the VX735v5Ag device if you use the probes from 97.4+.


Is there more information on the various Basic Control Blocks (described in User Manual). How to activate them, individually or in various combinations?
As for control blocks, they are activated automatically when it is necessary, so you should not do anything with them and it is impossible to operate them manually. Besides, all interactions, combinations and activations are done automatically and precisely. All you need and can do is operate with three buttons on the face panel, all the rest the device will do automatically.


We are very impressed with the 735 after testing it out. I understand that the wave forms do not allow the body to adapt to the wave forms but with repeated use, would the body get habituated?
No, the body will never get habituated to the wave forms, even if you use the device for a very long time without breaks. Known are the cases when the device was used for 3 days long without breaks while treating frostbitten feet - dry gangrene, and the results were splendid, the feet were saved. In serious cases the longer you act upon the patient with the device, the better. So if you are trying to eliminate or abate the severe condition, you can use the device as long as needed.


The manual mentions that special cleaners need to be used to clean the electrodes - please advice which ingredient should not be in the cleaner (conventional brands) which may compromise the effectiveness of the electrodes.
You can use any cleansers used for cleaning silverware – I think you can learn it in any shop where the silver items are sold.


What is the difference between 735 with and without silver electrodes?
The 735 with silver electrodes is different from a usual 735 in output stages and tunings. Plus silver provides additional healing effect and deeper action signal focusing. The silver electrode model has more advanced features in treatment and provides better results.


Since the electrodes are critical in a sense that they are the interface to pick up signals from the skin and also the interface to transmit signals back to the body, can we stock up spare electrodes (to change when the original ones wear off)?
You may be sure you that the electrodes will not wear out sooner than the device itself, so I do not think you will need it. It is rather the casing that might wear out.



Treatment

I have some questions concerning operation of the 735 model:
1) When I switch on and place the silver electrodes on the patient’s skin, as it is indicated in booklet, the LCD display indicates CS: activity - 0 priority - 0 express analysis - 0 &helip;for about 6 or 8 seconds, then express analysis shows a number, is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. During these first seconds the device reads off the individual data of the patient which we call “biological passport” and writes them down to its memory, and then tunes in to this particular person you are going to treat. CS is a default mode which is set automatically at switch on. You can change the modes if you need with the help of the “mode” button.

2) When I move setting to SC and SM according to the booklet, LED indicator D is supposed to light up, it does not do this. There is also no change (on - off) with the C LED while treating on these modes.

Actually the D indicator means activation of the dynamic adaptation mode which is supposed to appear after about 4 minutes of acting on the area without shifting the electrodes. As for the C indicator which should also change in dynamic adaptation mode as it is said in the manual, the earlier models of VX735v5Ag did not have this feature yet. So it’s OK.

3) I find when on mode SC, I very often get a reading of eg. express-analysis - 15, activity - 0, priority - 0, is this usual and what should I do at this reading – move on or continue treating the same area with that reading?

This means that this area has a very low activity and that is why the device cannot measure the priority and express analysis of this area. You can continue treating this area for some time until the displays change.

4) I find (comparing to VX735 cos pro) that the top graph is often not very active, showing not more than one or three small bars on most patients, is this right? I do find more (all five) bars on a hot sweaty body occasionally.

Actually the moving bars are not so much important; this is just an additional feature. You should better take into account the figure displays of the activity, priority and express analysis.

5) When working on the areas is the best setting CS, then changing to SC or SM when focusing on the priority area?

No, you do not need to change from CS to SC or SM mode each time you treat the areas. Actually, the CS mode is a universal one and is set automatically at switch on. Just choose the mode you need and start the procedure. SM is mostly used for treatment of locomotor disorders. Follow the description of the modes in the manual.

6) Do I understand correctly that the best setting for cosmetic, skin, scar tissue, wrinkle, cellulitis is CS.

Yes, but you can also use SC mode – it is even better for cellulitis.


Certain modalities (from our past experiences) have different reaction when used for different lengths of time e.g. when used for 10 minutes, there is a relaxing effect but for 20 minutes, there could be a stimulating effect. Is that the same with your device?
No, it does not produce stimulating or relaxing effect depending on the time of action. The more you act the more functions it restores. The device is really easier to use than you imagine. It was specially made as simple in operation as possible, not to load people with various methods and techniques.


What happens if a healing crisis occurs (we understand that this is normal and a good sign) but the symptoms become too severe - any protocols/recommendations you can provide as guidelines? Or just stop the treatment until symptoms are reduced?
You should not stop treatment with SCENAR. You can continue treatment like before the crisis and the acute symptoms will be eliminated soon. During the healing crisis our body can recover sooner and more effectively.

Can I act simultaneously with two or more SCENARs? What effect can such action produce?
Yes, you can. First of all, simultaneous action with two devices can significantly reduce the action time. And the effect of action appears much sooner.


How can one use 2 devices e.g. 735 at the same time on a patient?
Using two devices at the same time can significantly reduce the procedure time. I know the cases of working with three or more devices simultaneously. You can put one device under the patient with the electrodes on the necessary segment; with two other devices the therapist is working on symmetrical areas. If you are a practicing SCENAR-therapist and have assistants, you can use more than three devices, if it is necessary. You can use not only several 735s but the735 together with the 705 models. The 705 supplements the 735 model perfectly, when used simultaneously.


For the 6 points on the face and the basic eye points, which electrode is most suitable?
For face and eye points you can even use the electrode on the device – its end-mounted part, or any of the remote electrodes you have. They will work.


Is COSMODIC used specially for cosmetic purposes?
Most people think so. But it is not quite right. This action mode is universal and can be used for treatment of many conditions. But COSMODIC – is not just an action mode employed in the device, this is a special technology.
Together with SCENAR devices “LET Medical” company has developed a special COSMODIC technology providing restoration of the human’s health at the genetic level – it cannot change the biological age of the cell but can restore its best genetically inherent and maybe still latent functions.
SCENAR technology restores body functioning to the level it was at before the disease. It stimulates recovery of the body using its potential as an organism in general.
COSMODIC is a more advanced technology, which restores body functioning at the cell level. It restores body functioning using both general organism potential used in SCENAR technology plus cell potential at the genetically inherent level, which provides rejuvenation effects.
Unfortunately the research in the cell level is very expensive, that is why it is very slow. The achievements in this area are partly employed in the 735 model which uses COSMODIC technology. Now we are in the process of development of COSMODIC-SCREEN systems which would employ multi-dimensional pulse and multi-electrode scanning system.


Does the SCENAR device have the capability to control appetite or induce weight loss?
Yes, SCENAR can be used for weight loss, but there is no universal method of solving this problem. Much depends on what has caused the overweight problem. If this condition is caused by disorder of the gastrointestinal tract, SCENAR may help to eliminate this disorder, which should normalize the weight of the patient.
We did not do any research concerning overweight caused by hormonal disorders and cannot say for sure if SCENAR can help in this situation.


I have a patient suffering cardiac fibrillation. She takes heart medications and blood thinners. Can I use SCENAR to treat her pains in the neck and shoulders? Are there any particular pieces of advice on this disease?
This is a serious case and we asked one of our leading SCENAR-professionals, Sergey Aleshin (Medical-Diagnostic Centre "SCENAR+", Rostov-on-Don, Russia),to give some recommendations.

Yes, you can use SCENAR for treatment of cardiac fibrillation. Actually, no antiarrhythmic drug can improve metabolic processes in myocardium. Cardiac fibrillation is a cry from your body asking for help. This way the body tries to attract attention to the sick heart.
Antiarrhythmic drugs, as well as other medications, suppressing such cries for help, cannot make myocardium healthier. Therefore, using SCENAR for recovery of myocardium will do your patient good.
Recovery from cardiac fibrillation using SCENAR depends on two major things: duration of the disease (i.e. how long the patient has been having this condition) and medications the patient takes.
Taking antiarrhythmic drugs hampers the recovery because together with relieving pain, they can make eliminating the disease from the body more difficult.
When taking medications, always remember that it is not the drugs that are harmful, but too many of them! This applies to all medications, not only antiarrhythmic ones or blood thinners.
Duration of the disease also matters. If this condition appeared for the first time or recently, it can be successfully eliminated with SCENAR-therapy in a short time, but only if the cardiac fibrillation is not the result of infarction.
If the patient has been suffering cardiac fibrillation for less than one year and the disease is manifested in the form of attacks, the recovery is possible during the next three months. It does not mean that all these three months the patient must be treated with SCENAR. As a rule, the patient should be conducted one course of SCENAR-therapy (10-14 sessions). The complete effect of treatment and the recovery processes are going to occur during the following three months after treatment.
If the patient has been suffering cardiac fibrillation for over two years and the disease is manifested in the form of a permanent condition, there is little chance it can be eliminated completely. However, it does not mean you should ignore SCENAR-therapy for treating this condition of the heart.
There is another very important thing. When treating cardiac fibrillation with SCENAR, the patient may have short (approximately during 1-3 days) aggravation of fibrillation. This may occur not in all patients, but often happens when treating this disease. Such aggravation of symptoms is a good sign showing that the recovery process has already been started in the heart. Therefore, it is not recommended to increase the dosage of medication during such healing crisis. Let the body take part in the recovery.


When I originally trained with Zulia Frost and the 97.4 I was told that antibiotics, steroids, and anti-inflammatories/analgesics interfered with the SCENAR action. Is this true for the 735.5 as well? If so, is it pointless treating with the SCENAR if the person is on this type of medication?
First, all these medications do not interfere with treatment with the 735.5 model. They just slow down the treatment process. If using these medications is crucial and necessary for your patient, do not cancel them and continue treatment with the 735.5 model until the patient feels better. The doses of medications can be decreased little by little, until it will be possible to cancel them at all. Of course, this will take some time.
The models of old technologies, like 705, or models of other manufacturers, like the 97.4, need to cancel the medications, because they cannot provide the desirable effect if medications are still used. The 735.5 is an advanced model and allows treating the patient along with medications if the patient needs them, until he feels so well that they can be cancelled.


Some of my patients have dry skin and the SCENAR cannot get a reading, even though they took a bath the previous day. I use a wet tissue paper to wet the area and I do get a reading. Is that reading dependable? What would you suggest?
You are absolutely right about dry skin. Yes, you should wet it and then the device will work perfectly. This also concerns the areas with thick hair – if you cannot get a reading, you should slightly moisten the hair and try again.


Sometimes at a painful area I get a normal reading, why is that so, what do you think I should do?
The area, which is painful, does not necessarily mean the place where the pathological process occurs. You may have a problem in one place and experience the pain caused by this problem in another. So what you should do is find the cause of this pain. You can treat the painful area until the pain is eliminated even if you get a normal reading on this area. After you eliminate the pain you can find the cause of this pain.


I have a few drug addicts (heroine, morphine and amphetamine). How should I treat them with SCENAR? It is not mentioned in the manual or recommendations on treatment. Can a drug addict be cured with SCENAR?
Actually this is a very hard case. You can try curing these patients with SCENAR. It is very important that the patients themselves want to be cured and get rid of drugs! You can treat the painful points on the head (occipital region of head) and three tracks on the spine. I cannot guarantee the result, but it is worth trying.


In “Recommendations on SCENAR and COSMODIC treatment” it says that it is not recommended to combine SCENAR treatment with among others, hormonal therapy. My question is: Should I not treat a patient who is operated for thyroidical problems and taking hormones for her thyroidea? She was operated two years ago and has problems getting air laying down. She has also hearing problems and muscle pain.
Yes, you can treat your patient with thyroid problems. We said it was not recommended to combine SCENAR-therapy with hormone medications, but it does not mean you mustn’t use SCENAR. If it is impossible to cancel the hormones, you can combine SCENAR with the medications your patient cannot live without. Though SCENAR-treatment may go slower and maybe not as quick and effective if conducted together with medications.


Is the head considered a peripheral area?
No, the head is not a peripheral area. Usually the hands and feet are considered as peripheral.


IMy wife has been exposed to the COSMODIC treatment by a person from Canada. He told her that his machine is special in that it was specially designed to treat darker colour skin patients as the other models are designed for patients with fairer skin i.e. Europeans. Does this machine – the 735 model – work on darker patients just as well as on fair patients?
First of all, our 735 model has a special feature called “biological passport of the patient”, which tunes the device specifically to the particular patient when the electrodes touch the skin, so the skin colour does not matter.


Can this form of treatment be combined with, for example, Rife frequency therapy which my wife’s caregiver was using?
Yes, if your wife will still need the Rife frequency therapy, you can combine it with SCENAR-therapy.


This “long healing crisis”-- is it very difficult to manage in terms of pain, etc.?
As for the healing crises, they will not be so acute and can be easily eliminated with the device, i.e. as soon as your wife feels worse, just give her another treatment with the device and she’ll feel better. Also, not all patients may experience the healing crisis, some of them may even have very slight crises or no crises at all, it depends on the person and disease.


Is the 735 series the best one and hence best to buy for treatment of other diseases like Alzheimer’s (which my mother has and hence I would like to treat her with this machine)?
As for Alzheimer’s disease, well, I am sure the device can somewhat improve your mother’s health, but I cannot guarantee you will be able to cure her completely. Remember that though this device is really the best model, it cannot treat anything in the world; there is no remedy for all diseases. But you can try.


I have not heard the completed dose sound as yet. Do I have to always leave it for that length of time to get maximal effect? Would I get a similar effect if I move to another area once the activity level remains unchanged?
Taking into account that the conditions you were going to use the device for were very serious, you may need some time (maybe several months, if using it for rheumatoid arthritis) for the device to make a complete dose. So you can move to another area and continue treatment.


Which model might work best for removing wrinkles and signs of aging on the face etc.?
Actually, no model can remove wrinkles easily. Every person is individual and the reasons for wrinkles to appear are also different. Some people look young for a long time, others get wrinkles at a young age. This also depends on one’s peculiar genetic information. First it is necessary to eliminate the problems which have caused the wrinkles. So the devices may work on one person splendidly and produce no effect on the other due to individual state of health.
First you need to put the whole body in order. Then the rejuvenation effect will not keep you waiting. Our doctors notice that after SCENAR-therapy the patients look younger, more vigorous, more beautiful, and are in a much better mood.
As for the models, the VX735v5Ag with silver electrodes is, of course, the best for such purposes. Our SCENAR-therapists say that this model can smooth out wrinkles like an iron. But I should mention again that every case is individual, and the effect of action on different people can be different.
